Join myself, Beccy Smith, founder and CEO of Holistic Equine in this 2 hour webinar and learn the MANY ways I recognise risk factors for hind limb lameness, how I assess and track changes using objective, science backed evidence, and what you can do to prevent hind limb lameness in the horses you care for!

Hind limb lameness is extremely common in domestic horses, both ridden and non ridden, despite scientific evidence linking lameness in hind limb suspensories, hocks and stifles especially; to hoof balance.

This would suggest that the recognition and maintenance of ideal hind hoof balance might prevent pathology and lameness in these regions. However, in my experience as a professional integrative equine podiatrist; working therapeutically on both the hoof and body of the horse, hind limb hoof imbalances are present in nearly every horse I meet. Therefore, being able to document, and objectively assess hind hoof and posture to help identify horses at risk, and highlight the problem, solution and track changes over time is critical to equine welfare.

Join me in this webinar where I will share with you signs a horse may be at risk of hind limb lameness, and how to prevent it, where I will examine:

* Radiographic evidence

* Hoof morphology evidence

* Postural evidence

*Developmental and biomechanical evidence

* Behavioural evidence

* Scientific evidence

* Environmental risk factors

As well as top tips on management and therapeutic options to promote healthy posture, development and hoof morphology to help rehab and prevent hind limb lameness.
