The sole map and heel slippering technique is taught by Daisy Bicking at the International School of Integrative Hoofcare and helps to better identify and assess horses and their hooves, in order to provide the best possible hoof care intervention, for a pro-active approach to holistic, integrative, welfare focused hoof care.
This is an equine podiatry follow up consult visit where I am checking, and if needed; readressing the trim, following hoof care provided by the owner who couldnt be present.
In the video, you will learn how I assess, sole map, trim and carefully address dorso-palmar and medial lateral distortion and contracted heels while maintaining optimum comfort, and trim in neutral posture to facilitate the release of fascial tension while trimming.
