Horses defecate at fixed locations and barely eat afterwards. We see developing rich ‘toilet zones and poor grazing areas’ on the horse pastures. If we want to prevent such a phenomenon, the meadows should be mowed regularly and raked. This allows for the clippings and manure to be evenly distributed over the pasture and develop a nice even grass sod.
