THE EARTH HORSE
An earth horse is solid and dependable, well grounded and trustworthy making him an ideal mount for nervous, novice or young riders. Heavier in build than some others he is a good doer and very food orientated it is of no surprise that Earth is associated with the stomach and spleen meridians

This family horse is tolerant and forgiving and enjoys looking after his charges, care should be taken however that this tolerance is not misconstrued as lack of sensitivity, they are like their counterparts very sensitive but like to avoid confrontation if possible. If mistreated this horse is likely to switch off and shut down and care must be taken that the Earth horse is not asked to do too much.

Signs of imbalance: Over eating / Colicky / Possessive and jealous / Clingy / Over protective / Lethargic / Nervous / Anxious
